1. Is the curriculum CAPS-aligned? Yes. Our courses are specifically designed to enrich the South African CAPS curriculum, focusing on life sciences, horticulture, and ecology to give students a deeper, practical understanding of their school subjects.

  2. How does the “Family Account” work? We support homeschoolers and large families! You only need to pay for a course once per household. All children in your immediate family can learn together from a single shared login.

  3. Do you offer group rates for schools or community clubs? Yes! For groups of 10 or more students (e.g., school science clubs or community youth groups), we offer specialized group enrollment at a discounted rate. Please contact us directly for a custom quote and bulk activation. (greenacademy@supremegirls.co.za)

  4. Why is payment done via manual EFT? As a registered NPO, we prioritize financial transparency and security. Manual EFT ensures that 100% of your contribution goes toward the Academy’s mission without high merchant fee deductions, while keeping our business audit trail clean.

  5. How long until my course is activated? Once you send your Proof of Payment, our team manually verifies the transaction. Your account will be activated within 12–24 hours, and you will receive a confirmation email to start learning.

  6. What are the benefits of the SG Green Academy courses? Our courses go beyond textbooks. We focus on “Science for the Future,” providing hands-on knowledge in nursery management, mycology, and conservation. Students gain “Green Skills” that are essential for future careers in a changing world.

  7. Can boys join the courses too? Absolutely! While we are an NPO named Supreme Girls, our educational mission is inclusive. We welcome all Junior Scientists who have a passion for plants, animals, and the environment.

  8. Are the courses self-paced? Yes. There is no pressure to finish by a certain date. Students can log in whenever they have time, making it perfect for balancing with school or other extracurricular activities.

  9. Do we get a certificate upon completion? Yes! Once a student completes all modules and quizzes in a course, a digital Junior Scientist Certificate will be issued to celebrate their achievement.

  10. What equipment is needed? Most of our experiments use basic household items or recycled materials. Any specific requirements (like seeds or specific soil) will be listed in the “Preparation” section of the course.
